ZHI's LOVELY 21st!

A VERY HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TO DEAREST ZHI! (((: her birthday was sweeeet. held at grandeur park condo beside AJ. the theme was stripes! n seriously, almost everyone turned up in stripes. how cutee is that! zhi looked so sweet n pretty in her dress n her hair was soo nicely done up! so anw, the hockey girls went earlier to help zhi do up the deco in the function room. the food was goood too. the music was nice n there were also games! n i guess we were the noisiest there, cheering all the time when we get the "do you know zhi well enough?" questions RIGHT! AND WE WON EVENTUALLY!!!!!! beating all her cousins, relatives n other frens to that. heheheh. so proud of us.

oh btw, her actual bdae is on 28th May! (yes, same as bestie lam!)

just a side note, someone told me to get down from yck mrt station n said the condo is of walking distance (meaning VERY VERY NEAR) but it was totally the opp. i went down to zhi's party str8 after my tr8 n was lugging a HUGE BAG n in my tube top n in my HIGH heels n in the end, i walked like for at least 30min. n yes, so i perspired like a pig n looked totally unglam when i reached. zhi's fren had to come n pick me up cus i got lost too. i think my hockey girls are really lousy at giving directions!!!! hahahaha.

chee's farewell

hockey sweethearts met up again today for chee's farewell! (((: n yes, azra n ari came along too! act chee would only be going away for abt 2mths plus to america for some NUS work n travel programme. it sounds like dam fun laaaa!

so anw, we ate at manhattan fish market. it's my first time there n so i was a lil stunned when ari phoned me up to meet at ".....the fish market." hahahaha apparently i didnt catch the word "manhattan". n they're sooo nice to help me order some grilled fish rice first so i can jus feast on it when i arrive! all of us shared some two sets of huge seafood platter or sth. YUMYUM. reminds me of fish n co tho.

A REALLY HAPPY 21st!

im officially 21. 29th april. i was lying on my bed thinking of all the lovely things that happened to me all my years. i just feel so blessed n fortunate. so actually, a birthday is a thanksgiving day too. I LOVE MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!!!! thank you to each n everyone of you who left a print in my heart n taught me how to live n enjoy every single moment. thank you to everyone who has been there for me n spending precious time w me. n to me, birthday is the day when i ought to learn to appreciate my mum even more cus she breathed life into me 21 years ago.

okay enough of the thanksgiving, let me recall how i basked in surprises n joy for the day! heh hehh.

1. when the clock struck 12, many frens came over to hide in my room n pasted greetings on my wall. lining, edmund, jielun, pam, sara1, sara2, jing, xx, aini, maria hid in my room n closed the lights. vv sweet but i saw it through.. the only surprise was that edmund came over from sheares. hehh. cus lining didn’t know how to act.. n jielun forbade me from bathing til it was abt 12. hahahaha n when i got back from my bath, there were MANY slippers outside my room. n lining didn’t allow me to get back to my room immediately after i finished bathing.. so fishy.. hahaha BUT still vvv touched! they sang me the first bdae song n i had a bdae brownie! then lining n the rest of my level mates went back to their studies (since it’s amidst the exams.. my gosh.) while jielun, edmund n i went to fongseng to eat n catch up. ya thank goodness my next paper is in 2days time! so still got abit of time to relax.. hehh.

2. then i spent my morning trying to study but my mind was jus drifting about n totally not focusing at all. hahaha jus kept thinking abt relaxing n celebrating after the exams or simply jus reflecting on my life (OKAY SO PHILOSOPHICAL). heh but around 4pm, bengines came over to give me a SURPRISE!!!!!!!! it could have been a really successful surprise but pam n sara somehow gave it away =x cus while bengines was hiding n planning how to surprise me, pam n sara demanded for me to open the door to see where my frens are hiding… ha i guess they didn’t know how to handle n deal w the excitement that was unfolding! HAHA. oh well so i saw matt n shaowei’s legs by the stairs when i opened the door! hahahahahaha! i couldn’t help laughing out super hard n screaming out their names la. they looked so sian diao. heh hehh. but i was REALLY REALLY VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AND HAPPY!!!!!! cus it’s amidst the exams n they came back to sch to study n surprise me!!!! really appreciated it very very very much. i felt so blessed n fortunate!!!!!!!! (((: really love bengines to bits. oh yes, they bought me a NUM bag plus a floorball vest! they also bought me a chocolate cake n a bottle of (shoots i cant rmb wats tt alcohol called..) sth la! then took lots of photos! (((: LOVELY!!!!!!!

3. then i had to rush out cus chee was rushing me out to meet zhi at vivo. (usu zhi, ari, chee n i would celebrate each other’s bdaes after we entered uni.) so i quickly got a change of clothes n rushed out w chee. ha we gave up on queuing for the the free ben n jerry cone’s day. but jus to mention, i thot it was q cool that chee n i were the last in queue jus 1 min before 7pm when the queue has to stop extending. anw, we hurried over to sushi tei to meet zhi n there she was, all smiling from ear to ear n awaiting our arrival. n as i was walking briskly over to the table, “SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” rang into my right ear. then audrey, mun, ching n bel popped out from the right corner behind some curtains!!!! OMGOSH i was stunned for perhaps 5secs? hahahaha n then i couldn’t stop laughing n screaming out “IM SO TOUCHED!!!!!!!” we’ve not met up ever since we graduated from j2 n so this surprise really really meant a lot a lot to me. oh yea, ari didn’t join us cus she has her exams the next day. (talking abt it, ari still owes me a bdae card!!!!! hahahahaha) but seriously, it was really a foolproof surprise. so i was really really xcited n happy!!!!! heh heh heh. n they surprised me w their entrance of a chocolate cake from bakers inn too by stuffing it right before my eyes when i turned my head. HAHAHAHA. okay tons of pics can do the talking. (((:

4. and the next surprise CAME! OMGOSH. another foolproof surprise. chee n huili act contacted each other to give me a floorball surprise! WOW. zhi n chee were distracting me by taking photos w me then sudd huili, yilin, jing, tash, erin, yihui popped out from behind w a bdae song n a chocolate cake from breadtalk!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D i almost dropped onto the floor okay.. they’re jus TOO SWEET!!!!!!!!! n it was amidst the exams yet they came out to celebrate w me before going back to their revision. really dam dam touched. ahahaha i seriously thought we made so much noise at sushi tei, so after footing the bill we went out n there sarah was! she finally made it. heh heh. 5. then the hockey sweethearts n i went out to the playground at vivo to play like KIDS. we cam-whored, yelled like never before, laughed like how we used to, jumped about n talking all sorts of crap. I MISS MY HOCKEY SWTS SO MUCH. we were spinning n spinning on some merry-go-round lookalike. n somehow, ching fell backwards in one of the spins! she aint injured or anything n all of us jus had sucha fit from laughing. audrey videoed down our spins n named it “wheel of babes”!!!!! HAHAHAHA HILARIOUS. n yes, she put it on youtube if you want to check it out. (((:

6. headed back to hall after that n i joined in some april babies party at the jcrc room. hahahaha ive the same bdae as sopphia! so happy 21^st to US!!!!! :D ate fruitcake n took pics n everyone was getting xcited seeing my “la senza” paper bag. hahahahaha.

7. went back to my room finally n was doing some talking w lining n sharing my day’s joy w her when a group of block mates came along singing me a happy bdae song! (((: sooo sweeeeet. ha but i got q dirty all cus of SHAZZY. she insisted on slamming a piece of greasy roti prata filled w chilli sauce plus fattening cream onto my face after 3 failed attempts. okay la i shall be a sport la heheheh. then jerm n zhaopeng gave me chocolates for my presents. thank you vvv much!

8. n navin gave me a handmade card n placed a box of chocolates in my fridge! hahahaha niceeee. looks like i got lots of chocs this time round. thank youu! :D :D

9. donald came over to my room n wished me happy bdae too n talked abit! thank you for the thot! app it verrry much! ((:

10. then next morning came n i was greeted by sarah neo’s missed call n sms-es! she’s prepared a collage for me n hung it at my door!!!!! SO TOUCHED!!!! I WAS SOOOOOO HAPPY I TOOK THE COLLAGE n smiled myself back to slp!!! i love sarah neo!!! i love laceybow toooooo! tho she’s in aust n the whole collage was done by sarah. HAHAHA (sarah said they shared the collage in name only!) thank you very much!!! (((:

11. MOST IMPORTANTLY, i think my sis rocks. she’s so worried that nobody would celebrate for me cus i sounded sooo sian when she msged. plus it was the exams so i wasn’t in the best of mood i guess. but she’s sooo cute. she insisted that my mum call me n my bro to wish me. hahaha she herself kept msging me to ask wht i received presents n wht i was enjoying myself. ROCKSSSSS. (((: but, my family doesn’t celebrate birthdays usu. =(

12. last but not least, i want to thank everyone single one of you who remembered n wished me. every msg really means a lot to me. each carries significance n sincerity. really thank you VERY MUCH.

it has indeed been a really memorable 21^st for me. i really want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for making it sucha sweet n lovely one for me. i love each n every single of you for putting in all the effort to make me feel special. i feel so blessed! THANK YOU EVERYONE OF YOU MY SWEETEST FRENS. I LOVE YOU! (((:
